Descendants of Hussenbach, we need your help!
In 1941 the following church records for Hussenbach, were transferred from the Engels Archive, and have been located in the Volgograd Archives:
Births: 1818-1838, 1839-1876, 1877-1887, 1888-1895, 1896-1899, 1902-1904, 1906-1909,
Marriages: 1818-1838, 1902-1908
Deaths: 1818-1838, 1839-1858, 1862-1881, 1882-1890, 1891-1895, 1900-1908
WE need your help, whatever you can afford to give!
These church records for from Volgograd have copied. Well-known AHSGR researcher, Doris Evans, who is the Village Coordinator for Frank, heads the project. The records for Kraft, Kolb and Walter have been translated and they are now working on Frank. I am working on the translation of the Hussenbach records. The records for the village of Hussenbach cost about $17,000. We need to raise this amount so that research can continue. If you have questions contact:

The Council of Northwest Chapters of AHSGR (CNC) which is made up of chapters in the states of Washington and Oregon have stepped forward to support this and to raise money to recover the records of our villages from Volgograd while there is still time. Donations should go through the Oregon Chapter of AHSGR so that a record can be kept and so that people can make their contributions tax deductible. Send to:

We didn’t think that we would ever be able to get these important records out of Russia and we cannot miss this opportunity. Yes, the economy is very tight-but this is our heritage and we need these records for future generations. Every little bit helps, but we urge contributions of $50-$100 or more. We have so many Hussenbach descendants-this should not be a difficult sacrifice.
Thank you
