The most recent addition to the Hussenbach database came from Allan Wise. He is researching Johannes Georg Sterkel and Anna Elisabeth Fries.
This Villagers blog will be a synopsis of people from Hussenbach village and the Family names they are researching. I'll try to help connect people researching similar Family lines.

I'm wondering whether there is any info regarding the Marker family. My husband's grandmother's name was Amalia (Mollie) Marker. Her parents were Henry Marker and Elizabeth (or Anna) Pfeiffer. Thank you.

Henry Marker and Elizabeth Pfeiffer were my great Aunt and Uncle. I live in Montana and when I was 8 years old spent the summer in Washington state with my aunt Marie Getz (Eash) who was Henry Marker's niece. I am researching my grandfather Johann Georg Getz and his line.

Looking for information on Heinrich Muller b. approx. 1850 who married Anna Elizabeth Propp. Son was name Heinrich Muller (1886 - 1975.) Family legend states that the son Heinrich had a twin, but believe to have perished in Hussenbach. I am also interested in Waschenfelder and Bechtholt families.

Looking for information on Anna Elizabeth Kroh/Groh Bath (1873-1959) Her father was Johan George Groh, and her sister was Barbara Kroh Bath (1883-1974) I'm having a hard time linking them into the Kroh line!

I have an Anna Elizabeth Friese (Fries) Frey Wagner (1870-1937) in my husband's family tree. My information shows she was born 8 Dec 1870 in Hussenbach, She married John Michael Frey in 1889 in Walla Walla, Washington, USA. They had 7 children. He died in 1915 and in 1917 she married Conrad Wagner, Jr (1853-1934) in Nebraska. (Conrad Wagner is also of Volga German decent in my husband's maternal family line.) She lived in Norfolk, Madison County, Nebraska USA until her death on 12 Nov 1937. She is buried in Pasco, Franklin county, Washington, USA. All of this information is available on Ancestry.com where my tree is located, but I am happy to share any additional information, newspaper clippings or pictures with Allan Wise.

Would like to learn more about my grandfather Johann Georg Gotts or Getz, born in 1879 possibly in Hussenbach. He married Anna Elizabeth Marker and emigrated to the USA about 1911. Anna's brother Henry Marker came to America with parents in 1908 and lived in Laurel Montana, then moved to Wenatchee Washington where he had fruit orchards. I am Georg Getz's granddaughter and Henry Markers great niece.
